So what's your setup then?

Im currently using my home made camera mount (can see it in the how-to section) and a Sony DCR-TRV33 Digital Camcorder with a wide angle lens.

I need to find myself a cheap 12v charger for it thought (sony want like 60 quid for a lead Shocked )

I did actually use my laptop and a webcam before, it worked alright until the battery went flat.

No camcorders for me, but these are the camera(s) I am using.

My "current"/previous camera was a Samsung Digimax S600, a 6.0 Megapixel compact camera. The camera has a few preset modes such as portrait, beach, night. It also has an Auto mode. Memory is 16Mb internal, and up to a 1Gb SD memory card

My new (as in I received it yesterday, 14/1/09) camera is a Fuji FinePix S7000, a 6.6 Megapixel compact camera that is capable of taking up to 12 Megapixel and has many SLR-type features. It has a more flexible manual mode, as well as some preset modes, and an auto mode. It has threads for the addition of specialist lenses and filters, as well as a top mount (or "hotplate") for the mounting of an external flash (as opposed to the pop-up flash). Memory again is a minimal amount of internal memory, and it can take an Xd card (up to 512Mb) and a CF-II card (up to 1Gb) simultaneously.

Both have the capability to record video. I haven't yet tried it on the Fuji camera, but I know that it is fairly limited on the Samsung camera, and it drains the battery very quickly.

I use a friend as a mount and a Sony DSC-T2 as the camera.
Unfortunately as you can see the friend as a mount is prone to bouncing around violently when at high speeds. Laughing

This is when I had a Polo 1.4 Smile
Can you get mounts for a normal camera like the DSC-T2? Question

If the camera has a screw hole for a tripod then yes you can get car mounts for it.
