USING WINDOWS “MY COMPUTER”

Before you start:
- Backup your TomTom device by clicking Backup & Restore using TomTom Home
- Make sure you have enough free space on your TomTom’s memory card or hard drive

Steps:

1. Plug your TomTom device into your computer using the provided USB lead / docking station (depending on your device)
Switch on your device
2. Select “My Computer” from your desktopIf “My Computer” is not on your desktop, you can find it under Start > My ComputerYou should now see a page which will look similar to this:

3. Double click the icon “TomTom” (displayed above)Find the folder named “itn”, and double click on it to open the folder:

4. If you have already downloaded the driving route from the website, you’ll need to unzip the files. This is done by using a program such as WinZip or WinRar. Once you have unzipped the files, find the file named .itn, copy & paste this into the above ITN folder on your TomTom Device:
