Just picture this, you notice you are low fuel, while driving your £200,000 Aston Martin DBS, so pull into the petrol station behind a bright pink Vauxhall Corsa, you have a smirk at yourself at the state of this thing, and proceed to pull the Aston up next to the pump.
You get out the car, proceed to walk around and fill the car up, when you notice the unmissable pink Corsa careering towards you DBS, while your heart sinks and you run away from being crushed between the DBS and the petrol pump, what would you think? Cry?
The owner – who undoubtedly is staying anonymous – described the incident after the Corsa came around a roundabout, lost control and mounted the curb and ran into the side of the DBS, forcing the car into the pump, and knocking the petrol pump off its stand.
If this was a James Bond movie, there would have been fire and explosions, although I’m not even sure “Q” would have designed such a feature to combat this event, or even thought something like this could happen.
That will certainly be a hefty insurance bill for the owner of the £500 Corsa – I bet their insurance company are crying. [Metro News via Jalopnik]
